This is a mantra, a quote, a saying that I wish I could plaster all over every client's bathroom mirrors, phone backgrounds, notebooks...just everywhere!
Because it is probably the biggest struggle I see so many clients have with NUTRITION!
That sounds strange, right? Worthiness impacting nutrition choices...but it's so true.
When you have a low self-worth, you are naturally going to fall into behaviors that do not honor and respect you or your body...and this includes food.
Instead of facing those fears and that negative self-talk, we binge eat or choose the less healthy option because we don't feel we are deserving of that healthy food or lifestyle.
We believe we don't deserve to feel well.
BUT YOU ARE WORTHY!
You do deserve to happy and healthy and free.
As Brene said, YES you are imperfect and you will have "slip-ups" and make mistakes along the way, but that's part of the process and that's what makes you uniquely you.
DO NOT ALLOW YOUR INNER MEAN GIRL (THAT VOICE INSIDE YOUR HEAD) TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE NOT WORTHY.
Take this thought and put it into action this week. IF YOU NEED HELP WITH IT, PUT THIS PHRASE WHERE YOU WILL SEE IT. Make yourself read it over and over again throughout the day.
I promise, the more you practice, the more you will believe it!
