A couple months ago, I saw journaling EV-ER-Y-WHERE. So I took the hint and I started to journal.
And my days started to become more meaningful and productive.
Recently, I have been seeing meditation EV-ER-Y-WHERE. So I took a hint and I started to meditate.
And wow. I am much better at being present, less anxious, and at peace.
I spent countless days of my previous years worrying about the future. What was going to happen? Was I making the right choices? I used to feel anxious about almost every decision (even something like choosing the right couch...or shampoo!)
Meditation is a training tool for your mind. It keeps you grounded. When I start to feel that anxiety or anxious now, I can "pull" myself back into the moment. It's quite amazing after only doing this practice for a couple weeks.
Living in the present moment truly allows you to ENJOY your life. It's not about what may happen or what did happen...it's about who and what is right in front of you. And being grateful for it.
So this week, I challenge you to either try meditation OR take this mantra and keep it somewhere you can easily see it, especially in places you may feel anxious. Repeat to yourself "BE HERE NOW."
